Mark Martin is truly an ambassador of the sport of stock car racing. He has
transcended to generations of fans, and been one of the most successful racers
during his career at the top. Mark is regarded by many as the greatest driver
to never win the championship of Nascar’s top division. This certainly isn’t
from a lack of trying however as one would be hard pressed to find a driver who
works harder at what he does and is more of a professional and team player than
Mark Martin.
Mark was supposed to retire at the conclusion of the 2005 season, but his
dedication and loyalty to his team and Jack Roush has convinced Mark to endure
one more season in the sport. Lets hope Mark has a successful season next year
so he can close his spectacular career on a high note.
